Employment & Civil Rights Law
Anna C. Fullerton joined Benezra & Culver as an associate attorney in April of 2019. Her practice includes all aspects of employment law and civil rights litigation. While at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Ms. Fullerton interned with the Hearings Unit of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and another Denver based civil rights firm, Killmer, Lane & Newman. She also worked as a student-attorney in the University’s Civil Litigation Clinic where she successfully petitioned to administratively close deportation proceedings for a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status case and defended a client against eviction proceedings.
Before law school, Ms. Fullerton served two terms with AmeriCorps, first as a case manager with homeless populations then as a Volunteer in Service to America, where she taught to low-income high school students. These experiences fueled her commitment to combating systemic poverty and passion for advocating for vulnerable populations. Ms. Fullerton is currently involved in local professional organizations including the Colorado Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Sonia Sotomayor Inn of Court. Ms. Fullerton is admitted to practice in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for Colorado, and all Colorado state courts.
